The Real Meditation! The benefits of meditation.
Before we discuss about meditation, let us be very clear that meditation does not relate to any religion. Anyone can meditate irrespective of religion, caste, sex and creed. It is not confined to any certain category or society of people.
In our earlier blog we have discussed about different types of meditation and how to start as a beginner. The most important thing about mediation is, there should not be expectation. Everyday there is new experience. The deeper you meditate the deeper you will know yourself. We are trying to know others, read others' minds, control others. But we never think to apply these phenomena to ourselves. If we can not control ourselves, our thoughts, how can we think to control others.
It is to be very clear that meditation will never lead you to materialistic world. Yes, it can guide you how to live in materialistic world without having utmost attachment to it. It will guide us to strive, how to reach the goal, how to stick onto the goal, how to be very humble even after attaining the power or money. So meditation works as a path guide.
Meditation is not for those who expects to be rich by practising it.
We have witnessed that even after attaining the goal, reach at a greater high and touching the rare success, people express their discontents with their attainments. Reason is lack of introspect. We have seen the corporate, politicians, industrialists and many top reach people take some break and get either into meditation or take the shelter of some spiritual gurus or centres for some days/weeks. This break is nothing but the meditation. The introspection. Meditation will teach us to introspect. It will teach to find out things inside rather searching outside. We are self content from inside. But rare people know and realise it.
As a beginner you must do meditation on consistent basis at least for 21 days. Yes, 21 days without any break irrespective of any worst situation. If there is any break, then 21 days to be restarted. Always concern about quality than quantity. It does not matter how much time you meditate. It matters, whether you give your 100% concentration. Some day may be euphoric and the other may be normal. Neither feel bad of normal day and excited about the better one. Let everyday take its own course of action. Everyday you have different mood, different routine, diet, interaction with different people and so on. Hence, the experience will be different too.
Those are willing to start meditation, we will post the meditation process from day one to day 21 one by one.
Most importantly, always take the guidance from any Guru before starting meditation. Never share your experience of meditation with anyone. On extreme cases, you can share it with your Guru only.
