Programming Subconscious Mind



In spirituality experience is worth than knowledge. For say, you have learned various types of meditations. You have knowledge of these. But do not practice any consistently. What is the use? Because, in meditation you will have unique experience each time you meditate. Why it is so? Nature is changed in every moments. If you compare day to day or week to week or so on, you will find many changes in themselves with respect to time. That's all about nature. Your mind state is changed in each moment. We confront with different activities, different people, different talks,  and different thoughts. All these are stored in our subconscious mind.




Role of Subconscious Mind in Daily Life & Meditation as Well




The subconscious mind plays vital role in every sphere of our life. There is a famous dialogue in Hindi "जो दीखता हे वो होता नहीं और जो होता हे वो दीखता नहीं ". Yes, what we perceive in naked eyes are all illusions and facts remain far away from our vision. Reasons are many. For example, in the past someone has cheated you. If you happen to meet anyone of same look, spontaneously you will perceive the stranger as a cheater. Later on situation may change after having interaction with him. The spontaneous perception doesn't come from the conscious mind but the subconscious one. We don't need conscious mind to do our day to day activities and to remain in the present. Because everything has been stored in our subconscious mind. For example, while driving if we happen to see someone come in our way, we give sudden break. Because, it has happened many time before and our subconscious mind has been trained to react to the situation in certain manner. So, without our knowledge our hand or leg is instructed to control the break. The reason to discuss about subconscious mind is, we have to handle subconscious mind carefully. Because, a petty error to train our subconscious mind, will definitely bring havoc in our life.  In anger, we speak so harshly. In happiness, we loose our lips. In sad, we start disclosing secretes. Why? Because, everything has been coded earlier. It is decoded depending upon the situation. So, what is the way out? 




- First of all, we have to take care of our each thoughts. Suppose, someone speaks to us rudely, suddenly we create negative thought about him. Means, our subconscious mind is programmed negatively. After that his every words will be perceived negatively. By doing this we miss out the nectar of life. Till yesterday, he was best friend of mine. That to at that time when the whole world was against him. Yet his each and every activities has been appreciated by me and never gone unnoticed. Yesterday, he was bit upset. I asked him the reason. He spoke to me bit impolitely. This is the thin moment. Since then all his words are bitter for me. The friendship of prolonged period was broken due to my silly program to my subconscious mind. Am I not responsible for this? Did I try to understand his situation? After all, he is my best friend and not an acquaintance. How can I just leave him like this? But nay! It is due to I have programmed my subconscious mind wrongly. 




Take care of your thoughts while alone and take care of your words while in public.



Meditate Deeply




First of all choose a suitable place to meditate.  Place a mate on which you can sit comfortably. Better if you can sit on 'Padmasana' else just sit as per your comfort. Sitting posture depends on your physical health. Better not to take support of wall for backrest. If you are sitting on a chair with backrest, not an issue. Take a sitting posture which is comfortable for you so that you can sit at least for half an hour without shacking your body. Close eyes. Merely closing eyes is not enough to shut the thoughts. To curtail the no of thoughts, the best way is, just roll up your tongue and touch your upper jaw. Hold it for some time. May be for 40 to 60 seconds. You will find that no of thoughts striking your mind has been decreased. Yet, thoughts are striking your mind. Do not try to resist them. Rather become a spectator of thoughts. Let them come and go. 

The unique quality of thoughts is, if you respect them, they will stay in your conscious mind and invite other thoughts. Which will affect your subconscious mind. If you simply become the spectator, means you do not care about them, they feel insulted and simply go away

At a point of time, you will find your mind is without thoughts.  Yes! Without thoughts. That is the time you are in deep meditation. But the aim of your meditation should not be this. It should be started with selflessness. Let things happen automatically. You may have different experiences during this process on day to day basis. 

To make yourself sit for meditation, you have to practice for 21 days consistently without any break. 21 days works not only for meditation, but also for learning the art of singing, dancing, reading or what ever the activity may be. 21 days of consistent practice will program your subconscious mind and bring tremendous changes in life. 

It is advisable, meditation should be practiced in "Brahma Muhurta" - generally 96 minutes before sunrise. If you meditate for half an hour, then you can get up 45 minutes before sunrise, get refreshed and sit for meditation. Best timing to start meditation is  between 3.00 to 3.30 in the morning. 


It is not just said that "Doctors differ". Though same process for meditation is followed by many, yet the outcome differ. Reasons has been discussed earlier with respect to environment, state of mind etc. at the time mind of meditation. 

Benefits of Consistent Meditation

- Consistent meditation will open up the mind and remove all clutters of mind. 

- It will help to visualize things as it is rather being in illusion.

- Helps for decision making. 

- Undoubtedly, increase "Aura" of our body. Increases the immunity system. Strengthening immunity is paramount to deal with all diseases. 

- Increases foresight vision. Dissolve all negative thoughts inclusive of angers and greediness. 

- Controls blood flow. It will let not the outer disturbances affect the inner peace. How adverse the outer world may be, but you retain your inner peace.

The benefits mentioned above are few. It  varies person to person.
